General Art Process
After the initial idea / briefing is decided, I do various rough thumbnail sketches to explore the topic and experiment with different approaches.
The versions that work best will then be cleaned up and further elaborated.
If there are some prominent elements to be featured in the illustration, separate design sketches help to discuss the ideas and make sure that everything fits together cohesively.
When an elaborated thumbnail is chosen, I will continue working by doing a clean sketch, setting up basic colors and then working on painting and rendering - until finalization.
The client will be updated and asked for their feedback during the various stages of the work process - so from early on we can steer in the right direction together.
During the process I will use references like photos and 3D models to ensure a credible visualization. There is no involvement of AI at any point, everything is 100% human made and therefore applicable for securing copyright.
